Around February 2025, Google Play launched another round of large-scale application deletion and developer account removal, comparable in scale to February 2023. In essence, each large-scale application deletion is closely related to the experiments and suspicious operations of various “expert” developers. After each large-scale account removal, Google will inevitably face challenges, and the threshold for application review will become higher and higher.
Based on the successful experience before 2025, after a long wait, the app was rejected due to two policy issues.
Your app has the following policy issues. Please correct the violations and ensure that your app meets all policy requirements before resubmitting.

Issue 2, Financial Services Policy: Violation of the Financial Services Policy.
Apps that include any financial functionality must complete the Financial Features Declaration form within the Play Console. Your app does not meet these requirements of the Financial Services Policy. We were unable to approve your app for the following reasons:
· The Financial Features Declaration form you provided for your app in the Play Console is inaccurate.
Update your Financial Features Declaration. Select all applicable categories, deselect any incorrect statements, and provide additional proof of eligibility requirements.

After persistent efforts and overcoming numerous challenges, the app in this case was successfully published on Google Play. Despite the stricter review process for special category apps in March 2025, we managed to fully address the “high-risk” issues during the submission process. Although we encountered some minor policy details, it did not lead to the failure of the entire endeavor.
