In the past two years, we have been paying attention to the issue of APP suspension and developer account termination, but we rarely pay attention to the issue of how many times an app is suspended before an account is terminated. Although we have always known that product violations and multiple suspensions and removals will lead to account termination, there is no specific definition of how many suspensions are allowed. Today, we have used a painful lesson to confirm the principle of Google Play’s account suspension for multiple violations, as shown in the figure below.

Note: This case is a termination text for an account that has repeatedly violated the policy. If the first registered account is terminated due to obvious association issues, this type of termination text may also be displayed.
As of May 2025, except for minor suspension issues (such as privacy links, descriptions, statements, data security forms, etc.) and suspensions caused by timeouts for these minor policy issues, common policy violations and content violations all fall into the category of “repeated violations and multiple violations”.
If your business is prone to suspension and punishment, if you want to keep your account after the first suspension of the APP, it is best not to continue uploading similar APPs that are prone to suspension due to policy violations. The value of an account is still quite large now, and it is not cost-effective to terminate the account.
