The app review guidelines on the Apple Developer (iOS) platform are extremely strict, and I believe many developers have experienced this firsthand. For sensitive or special types of apps, submissions are rigorously scrutinized, including strict checks on qualifications, naming, and other rules. This time, for submitting a financial services app to the iOS App Store, we also provided the corresponding associated license and qualification information. However, the submission was still rejected. The original rejection result is translated as follows:
Your app provides financial services but does not meet all the requirements for apps providing these services. Specifically:
- Your app provides services for the financial institution “xxx” but the app has been submitted by an Apple Developer Program account with a different seller and company name.
Unless you have authorization from the financial institution, an app offering financial services must be submitted by an account with a seller and company name that matches the institution.
These requirements give App Store users confidence that apps offering financial services are qualified to provide these services and will responsibly manage their data.
Next Steps
It would be appropriate to take the following steps to resolve this issue: - If you have partnered with a financial institution and are authorized to distribute this app, reply to this message and provide documentary evidence of your partnership. Otherwise, your app
must be published under a seller name and company name that reflects the xxx name.

Many developers who are unfamiliar with the specific submission requirements for certain business types will find themselves in a difficult situation at this point. Even if they have the necessary qualifications, if the qualification information does not perfectly match, it may still not be accepted by Apple.
For ordinary types of apps, there is absolutely no such worry; as long as the product code has no issues, it will almost always pass.
